We are on the Java/Bali trip leaving in May of 2024. We are booked on Qatar airlines.
We are not able to book airline seats on Qatar Air until 48 hours ahead in economy. This is a VERY long trip, we are in our 70s and want to sit together on the trip as I sometimes need my husbands assistance. Could you please provide us an alternative.
The itinerary says we go through Hong Kong and our Qatar itinerary does not go through Hong Kong...FYI. Please advise.

My cancellation is being handled. It is a slow process but under the current circumstances I understand & am willing to wait for my refund. I plan to travel with OAT in the future & would recommend to my friends.

Dear OAT folks,
My husband & I are interested in the Maritime Jewels of the British Isles: England, Wales, Northern Ireland & Scotland tour. We are especially interested in Day 8 of the tour, which is spent in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
When I looked at the detailed itinerary on the website, the narrative for the day in Belfast is the narrative that applies to Day 7, the day on the Isle of Man.
Please correct the itinerary on the website and notify me via email when this has been done. Thank you.

Tried several times over the last couple of months to reach Damir 'damirhorvat1703@***.com', but no replies.
Some in our group noted Damir was involved in some sort of accident after our trip and is recovering.
My question to Damir has been: Just checking in to see if you still have the group pictures, but more important to me the E mail address of the two groups BALKANS OAT 09/2023, as I would like to send my log to them.

Egypt trip
T I called twice about a Egypt tour in Dec of 2023 and was told twice that there was space on 2 cruises and they would send me an email with the intineraries so we could choose which one - NO EMAIL sent. Please call me at: 707-492-****. Col Soule
Extremely poor communication
I called requesting a price for a potential trip to Patagonia. Immediately I received an OAT email stating the price which said it included international airfare.
Upon making reservations for the trip, I was told this was incorrect.
Despite my calling over a dozen times, requesting a follow up phone call to clarify, I received none for weeks.
Although Ive sent many emails showing the original email with the price from 0AT, I received incoherent email replies.
This is horrendous customer service. Not only is it false and misleading advertising, but then their lack of responsiveness is quite appalling

Beware if you choose to deal with OAT -- don't trust any promise they make -- whether oral or written. They cancelled a June 2022 Baltic trip that my friends and I had booked because it was undersubscribed.
They promised to let us rebook at no additional cost even if the new date was more expensive if we rebooked for either 2022 or 2023. We rebooked for 2023. Our new invoices did not reflect the "no increased cost" promise. My friends fought with OAT and finally were properly charged only the 2022 cost for the 2023 trip.
Unfortunately I had upgraded my airfare (over $2000) and instead of giving me the promised same cost for rebooked trip as promised, OAT is using the money for the upgraded airfare to cover the increased cost of the 2023 trip instead of applying it to upgraded airfare for the rebooked trip. So much for trusting the word of OAT . .

I had to wait over an hour to speak to someone. This is a 10000 trip for myself and daughter.
That is unacceptable
Customer service. This is my fourth trip.
Terrible deterioration. No improvement I go somewhere else.

On hold for over 2 hrs 33 minutes. Finally gave up! Once you have my reservations and my money, customer service is terrible

On my OAT trip through France in May, 2022, I contacted Covid, but had purchased insurance through OAT with Allianz, OAT's default carrier. I had to isolate in Paris for a week until I was not contagious, and incurred out of pocket expenses of nearly $2,200.
I rejoined my tour eventually and returned home. Per Allianz's instructions, I forward to them at the end of May, 2022, a summary and copy of each legitimate expense which I incurred. After not receiving any communication from Allianz for 30 days, I again sent to Allianz a summary and copy of each legitimate expense. On July 15, I received a check from Allianz for $500, with a letter stating that this amount should satisfy my entire claim.
I immediately called Allianz and was told that Allianz had my expenses and that a representative would call me within 48 hours with an explanation. I waited a week, and went through the same process.
I now have made 3 calls and not received an explanation of any kind from Allianz. I phoned OAT with my complaint and OAT had no comment.
Preferred solution: Full refund
Cavcel boliva trip and keep Colombia trip. Want to arrive a day early to Colombia
Still trying to get flights from Hbg or Baltimore or Philly without more the one change. Told to call back in the middle of October
Did make arrangements to travel to Colombia. Everyone was very nice
Due to shortage of workers waited almost 4 hours for call to be answered

We have been on 4 trips with OAT and now I am put on hold for 1 1/2 hours without contact. I have questions about our upcoming trip

Poor customer service
Refund of cancelled trip is taking over 30 days. Cannot speak with a manager.
You have to leave a message and someone will return your call in 5 days. What type of company is this?
